What I Did:

• Led the design and development of scalable, user-focused web applications using React.js, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.

• Mentored interns across Programmify Internship Program (PIP) cohorts, mentored the 3rd cohort (PIP3) and currently mentoring PIP4, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and career coaching.

• Built and maintained a reusable component library and design system to speed up development and ensure UI consistency.

What I Do:

• Mentor women in frontend development with a focus on practical, career-ready skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React (and Next.js), component-driven UI, and responsive design.

• Run weekly mentor sessions (group workshops + one-on-one support) to help mentees progress through hands-on exercises and mini-projects.

• Provide career guidance including resume/portfolio reviews, interview prep, and advice on freelance/remote work opportunities.

• Review mentee code and give constructive feedback to improve code quality, accessibility, and performance.

• Create and maintain learning resources, guides, and starter project templates to accelerate learning and help mentees ship portfolio-ready projects.

• Designed and implemented community-building initiatives such as PIP House Challenges and Mentorship Rounds to enhance participation.

• Collaborated with the operations and engineering teams to align community activities with Programmify’s mission of hands-on tech learning.
